Vacancy Property Manager

Are you super organised and good with people?

We need someone to work with our tenants and landlords to ensure efficient planning and smooth operation of tenant changeover of our properties. This means checking the condition of our properties and agreeing any costs for works with landlords, tenants and contractors, organising works, ensuring checks ins go well, whilst at the same time keeping everyone happy and on time!   Other tasks include managing general maintenance, inspections, safety compliance and general office tasks.

Can you do that?

Based in our central St Ives office for 40 hours a week (ideally), including 1 Saturday morning in 3 – Salary £20,000-£23,000 dependant on experience

  • Very organised. Able to properly prioritise a number of active tasks at the same time
  • Able to undertake office administrative tasks in a detailed manner
  • Able to adapt to different tasks
  • Able to use computers for accurate records and communication
  • Comfortable working in an open plan office
Experience

The following would be desirable, but is not essential as full training will be provided

  • Understands routine house maintenance issues
  • Working with property, particularly in residential lettings
  • Selling, particularly as an agent or broker

Applicants must have a current driving licence, or be able to visit remote properties at short notice
