Events for Easter 2019

With Easter Friday kicking off the bank holiday weekend with a summery bang, we thought we’d put together a list of things to do for the next month in St Ives and Cambridge. Whether you’re into tea and literature, boogieing the night away, exercising your chuckle muscles, or watching raucous family entertainment – we’ve got you covered.

Not one for the kids this one, but if you like beer, cocktails, and partying – especially in the glorious weather this bank holiday weekend, then the opening weekend of Thirsty Biergarten 2019 might be something you want to look into! On Saturday 20th April, the food will be steak and proper pizza! Running throughout the summer, it’s well worth keeping up with Thirsty Cambridge’s Facebook page to find out what further delights will be on offer.

Jill Dawson and Gillian Beer in conversation

Sunday 28th April – Stapleford Granary

In a slight change of tone from beer and cocktails is a word-y evening presented by Literature Cambridge. Acclaimed author Jill Dawson will be reading from her new novel, The Language of Birds and chatting to scholar Dame Gillian Beer. You can book your tickets online.

We also thought we’d include a bonus May event….
