Christmas Hamper Appeal 2021 for Caring Together

Christmas Hampers for Carers

Following the success and generosity of you all last year, we are launching our Christmas Hamper Appeal 2021 for Caring Together again, to raise money to buy hampers for carers and their families who need it.

While the Coronavirus pandemic has affected us all, there has been a very specific impact on people who act as a carer for a family member or friend.

It has brought additional hardships and challenges for them and their whole families – from young carers, right through to those who are elderly.

The demands of caring for a loved one have increased significantly, especially for those who have had family members shielding for long periods. There has been additional stress and an increased sense of isolation, the education of young carers has been affected and many have had their work and financial situations significantly affected.

Show your support of those who are

looking after a loved one this Christmas

You can make a difference this Christmas by contributing to the Caring Together charity, where they are putting together Christmas hampers,  with food and seasonal goodies, to be given to carers in St Ives and the local area, in order to spread some festive cheer.

A £25 donation could help buy a Christmas lunch for a carer.

We are working in partnership with Caring Together, and we are hoping to raise £2,500 from our fundraising and we will then be helping to deliver the hampers to the families.

Your donation will make a huge difference and mean more families can enjoy a better Christmas. PLUS we will match all of your donations, so please be generous!

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas,
