The latest figures from the market show:
• 44% reduction in the number of properties marketed for rental in the PE27-29 postcodes between 2009 and 2010 - mainly due to the property sales market improving. Overall there is buoyancy as 2010 is still 77% above 2008.
• 8% increase in the number of applicants registering with us. Rightmove confirm they are seeing a higher level of activity as there are more people choosing to rent rather than buy. Maxine Lester Residential Lettings is attracting more applicants via this means than any other local agent.
• 74% of applicants come to us via our internet marketing, an increase of 1% from last year and compared to 7% coming to via newspaper advertising.
